One of the major issues we are facing with Burrp.com is the challenge of generating enough capitol to expand our content offerings. We are also trying to get things out the door as fast as possible. And that requires surge resources. Fours years ago I read a great book by Jim Clark called Netscape Time. It basically chronicles Jim’s involvement as one of the founders of Netscape. In the book, Jim talks about the importance of waiting as long as possible before you commit to capitol injection. I have always bought into that opinion and of course it is pretty much common sense.

From that point of view, the management team at Burrp.com is leaning at bootstrapping as much as possible. In addition to our individual contributions we started the process of pitching to angel investors, but I can see a time in the not to distant future when we will have to make that critical decision to accept venture capitol. But at what risk??
