I just finally finished the timeless classic, Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. Though nothing he said was truly eye opening, he did have a great narrative to emphasize some very good points. The main point and theme of the book being independent income streams. In his mind, the true path to not just wealth, but financial independence is to work for yourself and build up separate “passive” income streams. Passive meaning you do not necessarily need to be present at all times in order to reap the benefits. For example, if you are a web designer, you need actually perform all tasks in order to generate income as opposed to someone who runs a blog on web design site in which they get advertising dollars. This book is a great read to anyone out there looking to run their own content sites or trying to develop addition revenue channels for their existing business.
