As much as I have jumped on the Facebook band wagon, I am beginning to get slightly annoyed by all the ‘Vampire Bites’, ‘Super Pokes’, and random requests I get. This in my mind is very manageable spam, but spam none the less. Is it just me here? Does anyone else consider this stuff to be of little or no value? Perhaps I am looking at differently. Maybe this stuff might mean more if I were single or out on the ‘prowl’.

In the end this is a minor issue for me. Facebook needs monetization opportunities, so you have to live with some it. Of course, this is a billion times better than MySpace and its infinite spam machine. So far I have not heard about anyone’s Facebook account getting hijacked and turned into a spam server. It is amazing that this still happens on MySpace . As I have mentioned several times on here, I always thought MySpace would wake up and turn the corner, but it is what it is. The ‘Motel 6′ of the social network world!
